Boston champion Wesley Korir to run 2012 Chicago Marathon |


CHICAGO (AP) -- Boston Marathon champion Wesley Korir of Kenya plans to run his fifth straight Chicago Marathon.
Korir, a graduate of Louisville who lives in the United States, endured record temperatures in the mid-80s to win in Boston last month.
He was the runner-up in Chicago last year, finishing in 2 hours, 6 minutes, 15 seconds. This year's race is scheduled for Oct. 7.
The Marathon announced Korir is in the field on Wednesday.
