PLAYERS
Biography: Full-time starter the past two seasons. Saw limited action with the first team during his freshman and sophomore campaigns.
Positives: Tough small-area blocker with terrific size/speed. Displays good quickness, blocks with a nasty attitude and stays square. Keeps defenders in front of him. Strong at the point, gets his hands into opponents and seals them from the action. Anchors in pass protection. Negatives: Marginal footwork sliding laterally. Gets tall in his blocking. Overextends or lunges into blocks. Analysis: Cook passes the eyeball test, but displays a lot of stiffness in his game and cannot cover a large area on the field. He offers upside but must quickly put together a complete game for any chance of making an NFL roster. Projection: FA |
