Biography: Two-year starter who missed the 2011 season with a broken shoulder. Junior totals of 2010 included 63 tackles and three pass defenses. Sophomore numbers included 29/1/4. Lined up at cornerback for Oregon State.

Positives: Aggressive and athletic defensive back with outstanding size/speed numbers. Strong, physical and works hard in all areas. Quickly comes up the field to defend the run and wraps up when tackling. Mixes it up with opponents throughout pass routes and shows good timing in coverage. Plays smart football and effectively reads or diagnoses the action.

Negatives: Not quick transitioning with receivers off the line and loses a half step from the snap of the ball. Lacks top-end speed and struggles staying downfield with opponents. Struggles making plays with his back to the ball.

Analysis: Hardin was well thought of coming into his senior season before being sidelined with the shoulder injury. He's a versatile defensive back who can line up at safety or be used as a zone cornerback. Hardin possesses the physical skills to play at the next level yet must prove he's healthy and get his game back to where it was in 2010.
