Neb's Martinez: I do 'good job' reading defenses |

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez says he does a "good job'' reading defenses despite throwing three interceptions on four possessions against Wisconsin.
Martinez said Monday he doesn't care if he gets criticized for the comment after the interceptions helped turn a close game with the Badgers into a 48-17 loss Saturday night.
Martinez told reporters: "You guys rip me anyway, so it really doesn't matter.''
Martinez's comments came during a short news conference in which he said repeatedly that he needs to make better decisions.
Coach Bo Pelini said Martinez tends to get impatient and "thinks he has to win the game by himself.''
The Huskers (4-1, 0-1 Big Ten) host Ohio State (3-2, 0-1) on Saturday.
